Kiss Me Collection by Rijkje – Jewelry Inspired by Playful Desire I have always been fascinated by the mouth, it’s one of the most sensual, expressive, and undeniably sexy parts of our body. A place where emotion, desire, truth, and energy all meet. The mouth can whisper, laugh, seduce, comfort, or provoke, and that duality has inspired me from the very beginning. That’s why the mouth has been a recurring element in my collection ever since I started designing; it symbolizes both power and vulnerability, boldness and softness, all in one simple shape. In the philosophy of Buddhism, the mouth is also connected to one of the core principles: the fourth basic rule, which states “to refrain from false speech.” This teaching reminds us how deeply words matter, and how important it is to be conscious, truthful, and respectful in the way we communicate with others. For me, this idea blends beautifully with the symbolism of the mouth, urging us not only to celebrate its sensual beauty, but also to honor its responsibility. ABOUT THE JEWELRY The mouth is made from recycled acrylic and embellished with a gold-coloured aluminium chain. It is nickel-free. The earrings are gold-plated and nickel-free. The ring is gold-coloured and nickel-free.
